Credit Bureau

Credit Bureau is an agency that collects and maintains consumer credit information and provides it to banks, credit card companies, lenders, creditors, and individuals through a formatted credit report. The three major credit bureaus are Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion who each collect a great deal of consumer data to build credit files, or credit reports on the majority of people in the US. Some of these companies provide free credit reports and free credit scores while some charge for every credit report requested by consumers or businesses.
